Welcome aboard Halifax Harbour's premier water taxi service - a fast, scenic, and flexible way to travel between Halifax, Dartmouth, and the surrounding islands. Whether you're commuting to work, meeting friends on the waterfront, or exploring historic Georges Island, our water taxis offer a unique alternative to traffic and traditional transit.
We operate year-round, seven days a week, with routes tailored to both commuters and tourists. With three modern vessels in service, we connect 13 convenient docking points across the harbour - including Downtown Halifax, Alderney Landing, McNabs Island, and more.

How It Works
Simple, Seamless Booking
- • Book via our mobile app or website (up to 30 days in advance or same-day)

- • Commuter Routes: Efficient, peak-time service between Dartmouth, Downtown Halifax, and the South End

Where We Go
- • Single Ride: $8 per person
- • Weekly Pass: $40 (unlimited rides for 7 days)
- • Monthly Pass: $120 (unlimited rides for 30 days)
- • Group & Family Rates: Discounts for families and groups of 4+
Year-Round Service
- • Monday to Friday: 6 AM – 10 PM
- • Weekends & Holidays: 8 AM – 11 PM
